Bring on the ruffles/bows/pink etc!!

Yeah! It was confirmed today that we will indeed be expecting a little girl in November! I had serious doubts about it so it is so nice to know one way or the other what it is! We are beyond excited and can not WAIT to meet her! I truly never expected to ever have a girl. Not that I didn't want a girl, but just didn't think it was in the cards for me. But now knowing that it is a girl I am just so excited!!!

After our appointment Mom and I went to a local fabric place that makes bedding and ...well...it's ordered. We saw what we wanted, ordered it, and will send in some measurements tomorrow for the final details. I know it is quick, but when you are working with a black crib there are fewer options AND it was shown on the floor so we used it as an example. I am not doing a bumper at all this time. That was the majority of what I spent the money on with Hagen's room and I never used it...until now to stuff in the space between his bed and the wall.

She looks so sweet...of course don't we all just think they are cute when they are ours and real.

Awesome. Ryan and I LOVE this photo! Yes, it is freaky, but we had the same freaky ones with Hagen and they cracked us up! Of course only after he was born and was cute...we were a bit freaked out at "Skelator" for awhile. I will post another sono picture of Hagen and this little girl so you can compare...they already look alike. She COMPLETELY resembles a dinosaur below...Ryan lovingly is calling her "Sissy-saurus"...or poo poo stinky pants.

At dinner tonight we told Hagen about there being a girl in there and he was unamused, but not unhappy...just couldn't care really. But then he thought about it and exclaimed, "I'm going to have a sister like Noah!" Ahhh...yes buddy...you are going to be just like Noah! Now the world is even.
On related but not related information, my placenta is still low. It is still covering the cervix, but is on the edge so it is more than likely going to move. BUT we may have to have another sonogram around 26 weeks...bummer...total bummer. :) I had a low laying placenta with Hagen but it moved out of the way in time. I hope this one does too or else it is c-section city!!
Tata ladies,
Carrie
